This is an Information Notice in relation to the cookies that are used on the website of ID-Pal –  www.id-pal.com.  ID-Pal Limited are the data controller under data protection law.

What are cookies and why do we use them?

There are different types of cookies which have different purposes and last for different periods of time. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent while all other categories do. 

Some cookies are placed by ID-Pal (known as ‘First party cookies’) while others are placed by third parties because we use their service on our website eg Salesforce (‘Third Party cookies’). 

Cookies can remain on your computer/device only for the duration of your browsing session  ie once you close your browser, not necessarily when you leave the ID-Pal website. After your browsing session, these cookies are erased (known as ‘session cookies’). Alternatively, cookies can remain on your computer or device after your browsing session has ceased (known as ‘persistent cookies’).

We use cookies to:

  • Record your cookie preferences
  • Enable website to work efficiently 
  • Allow you watch videos on our site
  • Link your contact request to a Salesforce record 

We have placed links to our N.Rich account and our LinkedIn page on the website and as a result of this, N.Rich and LinkedIn set cookies which can track/target you.

What kind of information do cookies collect?

We receive the following types of information about you through the cookies we use

  • Cookie browser data: cookie identifiers, time/date, pages viewed, whether and to which cookies you have consented;

  • Analytical data: Data about your usage of the website

Is this information transferred outside the EEA?

Yes, such information is transferred to the USA by the hosts and the transfer is based on EU approved standard contractual clauses, as permitted under Article 46 of the GDPR.

How long does my consent last?

Your consent will last for 6 months from the date you last provide it to us using the cookie tool on the Website. After this period, the cookie tool will automatically treat your consent as withdrawn and request it again. 

You can however, change your cookie setting at any time, by clicking  on the “Manage Cookies” button at the bottom of each page on the website.

In addition you can block or delete cookies in your browser, usually found in a settings or preferences tab in your browser.

These cookies help us to improve our website by collecting and reporting information on how people use our website eg most popular pages, duration of visits, number of visitors. These cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone.  We ask for your consent to enable these cookies. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our website and will not be able to analyse its effectiveness.

4. Tracking 

These are set through our website by ourselves and third parties whose services we have incorporated onto our website.  They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other websites.  If you do not allow these cookies, you should experience less targeted advertising.
