When your client uses the app their images and information are transmitted directly to our secure https:// servers. Access is restricted to our staff via secure authentication barriers and all data is encrypted. We then use this data to prepare the verification report on your client. We compile each report entirely within your secure online portal, which is equally protected.

If your client trusts you, then they should feel equally comfortable with the app. Firstly, you are the party who will direct them to the app in the first place – supported by white labelled marketing material for the app. Then, when they find and download the app they will encounter your familiar logo and branding throughout. When your client reaches the submission stage we make it clear that they are only providing their ID information to your business.

Once your client has uploaded their information to the ID-Pal app, the business is able to apply technical and manual checks to the submission via the secure web portal. Once completed, a comprehensive Customer Due Diligence report is generated with all key customer ID information, along with a list of all the checks that were performed. The report provides you with everything you need to evidence customer due diligence. No paper, no certified true copies. We provide you with a secure online portal to house your reports so you can access them online, anytime. Each time a new report is added to your portal we’ll send you notification. Just log in to access the report, and you can print or save reports from the portal if you need to. Also, each report has a unique URL, so you can paste this into your existing in-house systems in order to cross-refer to reports living in the portal as part of your wider customer due diligence process or client relationship management system.

Certified true copies represent the traditional method for verifying the identity and address of an individual (real person) client in a non-face to face relationship. However, this approach is not prescribed and isn’t the only acceptable method of verification. The anti-money laundering regulations of most jurisdictions list a number of suggested measures including, but not limited to, certified true copies. Also the regulations don’t restrict us to the few things the regulators put in the list. They contemplate other options and future solutions not thought of in 2008, when most modern AML regulations were released. Our layered e-verification process makes use of this forward thinking by regulators to provide a paperless verification solution, which is both more convenient and more robust than certified true copies.
